Flaws... Flaws... People always fall in love with the most perfect aspects of each other’s personalities. Who wouldn’t? Anybody can love the most wonderful parts of another person. But that’s not the clever trick. The really clever trick is this: Can you accept the flaws? Can you look at your partner’s faults honestly and say, ‘I can work around that. Can I make something out of it.’? Because the good stuff is always going to be there, and it’s always going to pretty and sparkly, but the crap underneath can ruin you. What I mean is once the sex gets old there better be "something" there or there will be nothing left. And of course, flaws are sexy ... but the things that drive you crazy about someone don't change..loving someone is what makes that stuff easier to deal with as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the comments. , M. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”

Love isn't about overlooking or accepting or about flaws. True love is without judgements.

The flaws are what make one special. All the sparkly bits will fade leaving those flaws to make one smile.

And I thought that the flaws added interesting details. The perfect nipple or the perfect clit are not nearly so fascinating as the imperfect overhang of that belly that speaks to the enjoyment of life. That perfect voice is never as interesting as that raspy disagreement that challenges you to think. and to respond. The blackest lie is a partial truth that leads you to the wrong conclusion.

This is so true. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”
