It's worth it if you're writing what you want to write.

Mind you, writing about kinky episodes in your life is no bad place to start!

Restrict your writing to the big three topics* on this site and you'll quickly become a widely-read, well-liked, immensely popular blogger**.

*politics, politics, and, of course, politics

**just kidding - for that to occur you would also need to write about sports, post song lyrics, and ban every member whom doesn't share your views***

.
.

***only sort of half-kidding

On the other hand, if you're a grammar nazi you might find yourself frequently shaking your head at some of the things you read here.

I remember now.

Blog content varies widely on here. I'd just recommend going with whatever is on your mind at the time.

Yeah, I'd recommend that too. Trying to stick to some sort of format would become tedious and limit creativity...

So we're saying "Go with the flow"?

Just go where your mind takes you .... One will either develop a readership or they won't. Blog for yourself - Not for us.

I started off blogging with great intensity writing erotic fiction both in my blog and the magazine. It was a great catharsis, and in fact generated several very worthwhile real-time and online relationships and encounters. I seldom blogged about myself except in a superficial way. I didn't feel the need.

Now I haven't posted a blog since December 4. (That was right before I fucked up my rotator cuff. I couldn't have typed if my life depended on it anyhow, so it was probably a pretty good time to take a vacation.)

The bottom line, blog if you've got something to say. When you haven't, stop.

I like making my subs expose themselves with words. When it's just for me, they write their sexual and submissive activities each day. That can be exposing enough for some, but beyond that I have them write down their thoughts while doing these things, and the dirtiest thoughts they have throughout the day, even if they feel it's too taboo to speak of.

Of course, you would likely want to pare such broad writings down for a public blog.
