There was a line I always remember from a book we had to study at school:

The past is another country; they do things differently there.

I just got an email from the president of my senior class announcing they are planning the upcoming reunion......I left that area and never looked back once I got to FL. Yeah, I'm not going to the reunion.

The colors in your Birds of a Feather painting are just so vibrant....

i never grew up in a small town, but had romaticised it in my mind. I worked for a summer as a historical researcher in one. I was first met with hostility and suspicion. What is that big city girl doing here, they could not hire a local to do the work.

By the second month, things were fine, but the first month was a trial.

Now either a large city or living isolated in a mountain cabin seems best.

I like your artwork. Talented.
I find that bdsm print work is just darling!

The painting is so very relaxing. Normally, a rooster wouldn't be associated with 'relaxing'.

The male of the couple upstairs manages to make a brief, snide reference or eyeroll about others in every little conversation I've had with him. Meaning his girlfriend and their friends, the neighbors who own the house next door. So I know how he operates now when he is behind my back. Good that I found out immediately, I'd say. Your Badly hidden affairs made me chuckle.

Help. Can anyone get beyond the first page of any blog? I just get a white page, no error. Using the links at the bottom of the main page of any blog. Maybe it's my windows browser Opera.
