I share the others' sentiments. Saying "no" only underscores that what you do is consensual...and sometimes circumstances dictate that consent should be removed. Plus, any Dom worth his salt will always recognize that a lady in legitimate distress needs a lighter touch...overheating in this horrible cold is definitely cause for distress. Be well.

It's okay to sa NO, always.
We have to protect ourselves, not only physically, but mentally also.
If you are not up to play, you have to tell.
There is NO reason to feel guilty.

Additionally I wonder WHY he didn't give you a helping hand with the car.
For most men it's no problem to add anti freeze.

I really do hope you get a chance to get your car taken care of..you do not need the added stress of this happening in this weather while you are driving anywhere... wish I could teach you what little I know which has gotten me pretty far..

Stops to hug you

As for you telling him no, it was thing for you to do.. cause as much as you might have had to take car of your car, YOU need to take care of you, and you did by saying no... with the history you have although far and in between at times, I'm sure he understood and knew it was a good call on your part...

Never feel bad for putting yourself first, and if its saying no to something you really want, then that's what it is..

One more before I go....

Hope today is a better ride for you

I can't say it any better that those before Me: It IS ok to say no and you went beyond that and offered an explanation. I can't speak for All but I do know that most men & Dominants I know find it much easier to accept if there's some sort of logical reason - and hon, your reason was MORE than logical and understandable

Stop blaming yourself and putting it all on you - and trust the handful that you trust enough to play with to also be trustworthy in understanding your own woes.

Sometimes life just simply gets in the way...you can't always control it but you can control you. Be like the bamboo during a wind storm, bend and the wind (life) pass over you. Once the storm passes, then stand up straight...

If anyone drops away from your life just because you said no once too often isn't the sort of person you need in your life - you had a perfectly valid reason and that should be acceptable.

Sounds like both Hunter and Sadist care enough, to know when your health is more important than what they had planned ....... I'm sure they'll always be there for you.

Likewise to all the above. It's most certainly ok to say "No". But is is a damn shame to miss out on some play-time!

Meanwhile, get that car seen to! The last thing you need is for it to give up on you in the middle of nowhere! Bad enough in summer but with THAT forecast! NO!

Yes, I always keep a bottle of Antifreeze in the car, goes down well with either soda and lime or a seven up!
