The Juice is on the loose

Okay for anyone living under a rock, O J " the juice" simpson got paroled from prison yesterday..

Let me start this blog off by saying Yeah that one parole board member seemed a bit out of place with the kc chief's football team tie on yesterday. He didn't wear it as a show of support for OJ ( who played professionally for the buff bills/49ers).
It was worn as a wink to the people of kansas city.
..this guy is gonna go on the local radio sports show tomorrow and talk about the case ( which he is legally allowed to do after the hearing is over)/he is a big chief's fan.

So that is much ado about nothing..

I watch alot of prison shows and have seen alot of parole hearings.. it seems to me like these board members remained unbiased and asked the usual sort of questions..
Such as do you feel empathy for your victims/what did you get out of the programs/how are you gonna change your life up/what is your support mechanism outside of the prison/are you going to AA etc when you get out.

Now initially I didn't think OJ was getting out...he didn't complete his programs/his answers seemed all over the place and off the cuff. This was his first parole hearing.

BUT these boards have their reasons for letting people out early. One of the could be something as simple as OJ was a model prisoner and the prison is becoming over populated... it honestly could be his age too. ( 70yrs old...states don't want to pay for all that expensive medical conditions that probably are like 5-10 yrs away tops like heart attacks/strokes).

and then there is the fact that OJ got 30 yrs for breaking into a hotel room and "holding " someone hostage...hell oj didn't even have a gun... the security personal from the hotel were armed and they got like probation I think.

so perhaps the board members thought OJ's sentence was excessive for what his part in all of this.

NOW ofcourse people are gonna bitch and whine about the other case...BUT legally you can't even bring it up..it has no bearing in this parole hearing.

And some people will now say OJ is gonna bank on all those interviews when get gets out...which is not true..he still owes the brown family 33 million from that judgement of the civil case.
OJ doesn't need the money.. he gets 25 grand a month from the nfl as his pension. He literally could just sit back and play golf the rest of his life.
