a history lesson on the nazis

Being a huge history fan of WWII...I thought I would take a brief moment and really explain what a "nazi" is...Seeing how we heard that term battered around so much in the press yesterday.

First off the germans/hilter never used the term. It was the brain of an english journalist at the time. It really was considered an insult. It was an abbreviated way of saying " Nationalsozialismus"...the german term for national socialism.

I'm not sure if alot of people know the "nazis" were socialist.
HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! does bernie sanders know this??

...the party's' official name was the national socialist german worker's party..
no shit ..look it up..hilter was a socialist....so yeahhh!!!! mind blown!!!! bitches
.
At the time most americans didn't know who was worse.. the nazis or the commies..hell time mag made hilter their man of the year...

And for all the youngsters here..hilter..yep hilter was legally voted into office..surprise!!!!

Unlike communism ( or modern day socialism found on most college campuses)..the germans rejected the idea of class warfare/maraxism ( so much for taxing the 1 percent(ers/ no operation occupy wall st bullshit for them)
. Instead they thought the people needed to look inward and sacrifice for the greater good of the country. After losing wwI the german people got wrapped up in the flag and embraced nationalism instead.

People have to understand that germany after ww1 was a shithole...the economy sucked/half of the country was under direct control of the french/work was hard to come by...
Adolph Hilter was basically a modern day college student/vagabond...he couldn't find work/he slept in cheap hostile/he engaged in alot of exploratory se just saying)..
He basically was a day laborer...he encountered many communist on the job sites and he enjoyed verbally sparring with them
( and no I'm not trying to make hitler out to be some sympathetic character/a warm and fuzzy hobo..just giving people insight into this man)
So when life sucks it is easy to blame another race/gender/religion for your problems.
And to be honest for a moment..NOONE liked the Jews at this period of time...henry ford of the famed for motor company was a huge anti Semite.
The jews were hated through out europe..

So lets bring this to modern times....

the economy sucks/the middle class is broken and yes there is a generation of white males lost...yep 10 fucking years of economic depression will do that( thanks bush/obama)

So if your living in your mom's basement at 26 and working for wallymart, it is easy to jump online and bitch about the illegals or obama etc. It is easy to blame others for your failures.

BUT I will add that it doesn't help that the media keeps insisting that white people have this magical "privilege"...er tell that to some dude living in his mom's basement.
Trust me I grew up on welfare and noone opened any doors for me..being white didn't help me one damn bit. Fuck I ate the free government cheese..and you know your poor when you ate that shit. cops will follow you if you drive a shitty beater of a car..and nope it isn't just a black thing. Poor is poor..doesn't matter what the color of your skin is. I've been pulled over for bullshit reason for driving while poor.

So in this modern days it is easy to hook up with people that feel the same way/easy to join groups and organizations.

it is easy to blame your faults on others.. it's easier to stick with people of your own race. it is easy to be caught up in a neo nazi type group...

BUT I will add that it is equally easy to join an anti fascist group..

ironically we throw around the term neo nazi, but not neo commie??? aren't both equally bad..seems like both are feeding off one another.

Yet alot of younger people really embrace the concepts of socialism/class warfare..that someone else should be paying for their benefits.. it's the same crap lennon pushed all those years ago.

And somehow we are now shocked to see neo nazis fight commies a few days ago?

And yep before anyone says it..yes my people do come from Germany..duhh..
I'm about as german as they come.

But then again people said that I look like Dracula.. so go figure...

I think people really really need to read history to understand way a people would willingly follow a man down that rabbit hole..

And yes some resisted..and people died. But it lays the footsteps for these modern day neo nazis..

ironic is the fact that neither are capitalist

And no fuck..I don't want to give the impression that it is easy to get caught up i this bs if your poor and white..

i honestly grew up in a small milltown in pennsylvania..my dad hurt his back and welfare was the only way we could survive.. so yeah we used food stamps.iam white trash .....i got free school lunches.. i get being poor as fuck..

But it doesn't mean you need to go down that path.. i have no problems with any race or gender or sexual orientation..

In My Opinion COMMUNISTS And NAZIS And ALL Other Dictatorships Come From The Political LEFT Because What They Have In Common Is The Desire For Big Government To Rule Over Everybody. For Example Remember That HITLER And STALIN Were Allies Before Turning On Each Other During World War II ...

The Nazis were not "socialist" - they appropriated the term to give themselves credibility with German working class voters. They were anti-trades unions for example. It is true that Hitler and the senior Nazis had a contempt for the big business and aristocratic landed elites that governed Germany and controlled the nation but that's as far as it went. Equally he hated Bolshevism (communism) and the Social-Democratic Party (the SDP) and after he came to power the very first people to be arrested were trades unionists, members of the SDP (mostly the elected Deputies in the Reichstag), communists and anyone who was a threat to Nazi rule. What he promised German workers was that he would look after them - but they weren't allowed a vote. Also in the late 1920s the NSDAP was close to bankruptcy - and would have gone under but for the funding it received from many German capitalists like Thyssen etc who saw the Nazis as a means of splitting the working class vote. They would not have done this if they believed Hitler to be a socialist.

And for all the youngsters here..hilter..yep hilter was legally voted into office..surprise!!!!

This isn't quite true either - he was appointed Chancellor as the leader of the largest party in the Reichstag but Hindenburg (as President) only appointed him after he had exhausted all other choices. Hitler controlled a large bloc of Deputies and refused to join any government.

He assumed dictatorial powers after the Reichstag was burnt down (mysteriously) and blamed that on Communists (it didn't help that a Communist fantasist confessed to the crime - perhaps under duress). The Reichstag Decree allowed him and Hindenburg to take temporary dictatorial control and he used that to ban leftist Deputies and ban their newspapers etc. Once they were banned he passed the Enabling Act which gave him full time dictatorial powers and then when Hindenburg died a year or so later he went a step further and became the Fuhrer.

But he was never voted in after winning the most votes.

auburn roxy..really? a twat.? so I suppose your a socialist then.. a total snowflake..

and no technically Hitler didn't win the election to become the leader..I was saying he was elected into office. So in essence he was basically bernie sanders.
My point was he didn't take the office by force and he/the nazi political party held power legally..to which most modern kids have no clue. They hear the term " nazi" and freak the fuck out. It started out as a socialist part of the worker.

Sure Hitler isn't bernie sanders.. but they both are socialist. I guess it all depend on your definition of socialist.

and yes modern universities are filled with socialist...does operation occupy wall st etc ring a bell. And unlike Google ( or the modern university) I allow a difference of opinion.
BUT personal attacks on your poor host will NOT be tolerated...

1uncommonDom: Hitler was a socialist...it's just his brand was nationally focused. Much like we could say trump is a socialist and his brand is nationally focused.

And no I'm not comparing trump to hitler.. the same way I'm not comparing bernie sanders to say lennon. ( whose brand of socialism was communism)
and yes sanders is a communist.

I did agree about open minded versus closed minded and economic advantages. The same way I disagree that diversity automatically leads to strength or success in an area.

Some would say that chicago is very diverse and open minded and it is going bankrupt/same could be said of california. There are alot of open minded and accepting folks on the unemployment lines and living in their mom's basements/can't pay back their student loans etc.

So an attitude doesn't mean success...and yes if you take in the best and brightest of any culture..sure your gonna prosper. But taking in folks just for the sake of taking them in only brings down your existing community to compensate.
Especially if they have no education/don't speak the language and don't want to assimilate...the french learned this lesson with their Muslim refugee communities

Politicians like obama can warmly talk about diversity, yet he ( nor his kids) have to compete with these people for existing resources/jobs/placement in schools etc..
Obama like alot of politicians is wealthy. His kids automatically get into harvard/yale etc...so he/his family will never feel the effect/burden of taking even in more people.
I'm not bashing obama ( one could use any politician)...but diversity isn't always a good thing to a community.

Hitler wasn't a fascist....he was a socialist!...OMG people...have you read anything about the man? You just don't want to accept this idea because you equate the term to the modern day college student voting for bernie sanders.

Hell the term is right there in the fucking name of the political party...socialist!
NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKER"S PARTY..

Just cause Hitler's brand of socialism doesn't fit your personal definition doesn't mean he wasn't one.

This post only demonstrates that you can be a fan of something without understanding it.

Hitler did what Lenin did, manipulated a fragile democratic system and a German public demoralized by an unwise, punitive peace agreement and an ensuing economic disaster to gain power. Lenin's gang called themselves "Bolsheviks" which means "the majority" because they won one insignificant vote at a gathering intended to unite the opponents of the Czar. They were no more a majority than the Nazis were socialists. Both were just opportunists and called themselves whatever they thought would make them look good and when they got backed into a corner, reacted violently, created fear and chaos, and took advantage of it to seize power.

Demagogs do it all the time. That's where the significant parallels lie.
The effort to make Nazis look like socialists is just smokescreen for Nazism, whether you use it in Munich or Charlottesville or on a blog on alt. What they called them selves is about as significant as what's in the Democrat or Republican party platform. Window dressing. If you're going to study something, one of the key necessities is to capture its essence, not its trivialities. If you had entitled this post "Nazi Trivia" it would at least have been honest just like if Trump had called himself a demagog he would have been honest.
